Shitake BIO 100g MycoLife is a species of edible mushroom native to East Asia, especially popular in Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine. It grows naturally on dead wood, mainly of deciduous trees, and today is cultivated all over the world. Shiitake has a fleshy brown hat and an intense, slightly smoky flavor. In addition to culinary, shiitake has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine for its health properties:

- Anti-cancer properties
Lentinan, the active polysaccharide in shiitake, has been studied to help treat some cancers, especially in Japan.

- Heart health support
Lowers "bad" LDL cholesterol and supports blood vessel health. Contains eritadenine, which benefits lipid metabolism.

- Antiviral and antimicrobial activity
Extracts of shiitake show activity against various pathogens, including viruses and bacteria.

Ingredients: 100% organic Reishi (Lentinula edodes) mushroom extract standardized to contain min. 40% polysaccharides. Extraction ratio: 20:1 Country of origin: China. Gluten-free product. The product may contain allergens: nuts.

Directions for use: a portion of the product, i.e. 1000 mg (1 g), about 1/2 teaspoon, dissolve in lukewarm water or add to a meal. Drink 3 times a day, immediately after preparation, preferably half an hour before meals. Do not exceed the recommended portion to be consumed during the day.
