Corn Starch 500g Targroch

Corn Starch (Maizena) Targroch is made from white corn stamens, not grains. Its wide culinary use makes it an addition to many dishes. Maizena has no smell or taste. The strong thickening properties of corn starch will prove useful in binding soups, stews or pudding. Foods thickened with corn starch are transparent and do not become cloudy, as is the case with flour. Targroch Corn Starch is mainly composed of carbohydrates. Vitamins, protein and fiber are present in very trace amounts. It is a product often used by people on a gluten-free diet.

You should know that corn starch and corn flour are two completely different products. Flour is characterized by the content of many valuable ingredients (protein, fiber, vitamins A, E, iron, phosphorus, selenium). Starch is an odorless powder that has no taste and health benefits. Thanks to it, the dishes will have an attractive appearance (transparent sauces, soups).
