White tea is characterized by an early picking time, when the leaves are still in bud and cover in white fluff, hence the name. Then leaves are dried (80,000 leaves per 250 grams of tea). White tea is the least processed variety. The taste and aroma are mild and the price is often higher compared to other varieties.
